Almost a week ago, we were celebrating Thanksgiving. A day of happiness, joy, family and being thankful for what we have in this life. Well, my nephew and his wife added a little something special for all of our family. They welcomed their first child into the world. Ladies and gentlemen, my new great niece....McKenna...

I obviously need to get her some decent clothing for her first Christmas...that red and gold just has to go!!! Wonder if they make cheese head Stetsons that small????

I've been feeling a little emotional lately.. (yeah I know big surprise right), there are alot of people that I've been missing, even though I know they can't be with me and would if they could, it doesn't take that hurting and anger away.. especially around the holidays.. I know some of you (looks over at Scotty) have felt these things too... especially around the holidays... well I saw this the night it aired and balled like a baby, but it took playing it again on youtube for it to click and sink in... Blake Shelton and Miranda wrote this, it was about him losing his brother and well missing him.. the song says it all.. and I know its not the original video but what's said in it.. explains a lot too... i cried again when I saw it.. but sometimes it help just just let those tears flow and the anger finally melt away, I hope this helps...

Haven't been around much, here at least, but I am so very thankful for all my friends here.  Also thankful that Mr. Cowboy Man is on the mend.  Also thankful for a certain guy who won't see this but I am gonna say it anyway.

Well Look Who's Back!!!!

Heard through the grape vine that our buddy SLW had some surgery recently. At first it was said that it was because of some problems with his sugar.

But he's always been so sweet I can't imagine that!


Then there was this rumor....he was going through male menopause and decided it was time to make some changes...the plastic surgery type....

Now, I'm not sure exactly what, but my first thought was...he's a boob man, wanted some of his own, so he had implants done. (wonder if he got the ones with extra sensative nipples???)

I know he took a ride on a bull once, and well, not that folks were laughing, but the jolt left him a little...

(maybe now he won't be puttin his pants on backwards)


Of course, he might have finally had that nose job done to correct the one he had when he killed that bottle of Patron one night.....

I do remember him saying he hadn't been around because he had to get a few things "straightened out" hmmmm.... I wonder??????

Well, what ever it was...I'm glad he's back posting. Hope he's doing as told..taking it easy...relaxing...not worrying about stuff...letting someone else be in charge for a little bit til he's back to being himself. If not, I just might have to take a trip to East Bumfuck Texas and kick his ass! Which by the way, no matter how much surgery he might have on it...will never look as good as this...

(dang I wish I could rub that just once!!!)

... it's hard to lose anyone but especially someone that holds so much personal and precious family memories as a parent or grandparent. from my home to yours ... my deepest sympathies.

Don't think that I am not keeping an eye on all of you. Thank you for all the comments and good wishes. I know that all of you know that there is not an ounce of 'stubborn' in me. For some reason this sweet stuff I have just went a little crazy. Caused some suspicious markers and they shook me down. Everything is on the up swing now ... well ... almost everything... an it's just taking a little more time due to the diabetis. A little preventive maintenance surgery was recommended a while back. After weighing the pros and cons and listening to a few family members... one Kalli and several close friends .... they caught me. I am resting at home comfortably and getting some much needed rest. I will start checking in more. Thanks for your friendships and concern ... your buddy.

Its hard to explain but I seem to get I guess you would call premonitions, when a friend is sick, in trouble, whatever.. the song I posted before was before I had gotten some news about someone we all care about... something just told me to post it... So I'm glad I did ... maybe a certain Cowboy we know ... will realize that there are "angels" out there lookin out for him... and not just the ones up *points up* there... :)
