Hi!!

It's finally warm here in Michigan.  Even had the a/c on a couple times.  My Tigers are the best team in baseball, too bad they aren't playing like it tonight or last night,  sigh.  Not much else going on here, well I did meet someone in October and I haven't managed to scare him away yet....

Anyway, Hope you are all doing well.  I miss Lit and all of you.  Hugssss

The Lady ...

Many years have been spent online by most of us.  We open up and share just what we choose for others to know about ourselves and a part of our private lives.  We have been known to share not only the 'highs' but the lows as well.   All knowing that none of us can make a difference in another's circumstances, but if nothing more than a sense of 'release' ...we post .

I have shared about my family, to some more than others.  From my parents, to my online experience,
my daughter conceived after an online relationship brought in to my everyday, the passing of my brother and just of the upmost importance ... the unconditional love and respect for my Mother.
 (aka The Lady)

Usually, the focus for our family on Mother's Day is celebrating the matriarch of our family.  Our Queen Bee.  This year was quiet different for us.  The Lady's health has been up and down for sometime.  Seemed she always mustered enough strength to come back swinging.  Reminding her children and grandchildren why my father tagged her years ago ... "The Lady".

A few days prior to Mother's Day her health began to falter.  We spent Mother's Day with her hospitalized and waiting for signs of her recovering and continuing to fill her many roles for our family.  Mother, friend, counselor, grandmother, neighbor, volunteer and above all ...the enforcer of the step in our walk that she and our father put in us.

Sunday I told the Lady she would have to hold me to her Mother's Day dinner after she felt better.
She explained to me in a few words ... all she wanted fir Mother's Day was for me to get her home so she could wait there to catch up with her husband.

I dealt with my sisters resistance for awhile and then together, we made our Mother's request happen.

Make every day count ...
