I love music...as some of you know, I took voice lessons for six years and loved the feeling of giving joy to others less talented. Only wish I had the same talent now as I did then. Now and then I sit here and listen to tunes that I cherish. Today, well, this is one of my favorites. It reminds me of all the good things I have had in my life...it also reminds me of people I have known and have lost one way or another. I am envious of most of you...you have children...the little "you" that runs around and drives you crazy sometimes...but the little "you" you would not give up for the world. My life has not been wonderful...it has not been the dream that I always had, but I don't think any of ours have been . We are who we are..we face our problems, our woes, and we go on. It really is a wonderful world. I have met all of you and each of you in your own way have touched me...and I thank you and I hope you feel what I do when you hear this song. You must watch til the end...the pictures are more precious than a 1000 words...

I was asked by Jentle and Susie q to pick between the costumes they thought Scotty should wear for Halloween this year... well being the loyal innocent quiet shy friend that I am, lol I decided I'd not enter one but post the ones they picked.. its a hard decision for me to make.. so I'll let you guys help me decide *grinz* ...


1. The bunny is very appropriate I think...he likes to go at it like a rabbit...so why not dress like one!
2. I can just imagine his legs in those tights...and if he lifts his skirt...well Mr. Commando might fill those out real nice!!!

and I had to add my 2 cents worth... Um why wear anything?? Well except this pizza box that is... Do you happen to deliver to Michigan Mr. Cowboy Man?

Well tonight starts the World Series, unfortunately my Tigers are not in it. But Mr. Cowboy Man's Rangers are. So being the bigger person here, I will cheer for the Rangers to kick the Card's asses!

kokomo..talent night

As the weather turns colder here in Michigan...40 degrees this morning I had to wear a coat to work!!!! I keep thinking about our trip. I have not gotten the complete agenda sent out yet, but there will be talent night and I appreciate that you have all sent me pics and a little idea of what you will be doing.

Froggie doesn't know for sure if he will be attending yet or not, but he has heard a lot about American football on here lately, so he is going to teach ...or try to at least ...all of us about Australian football. I was suprised to learn that the game is played without shirts so we will be expected to do the same. I do not know much about the sport...so what can I say??



Sue is very excited to show us her hidden talant...no, not that one Corwin...but the one she has had since she was a child. Rumor has it, she was 2nd in the State of Michigan at the age of 17!!!!




As far as Aqua...little did any of of us know what an imortant man he was "across the pond". It seems he has hidden talents and will be sharing them with us as he did with Nadal!!!! I'm excited to learn about this one....but then again, I didn't realize tennis is usually played without shirts...strange folks in England, kind of like the Aussies!




Poor Buggsssss family is going crazy right now, but from what I hear she just won't quit practicing...she wants to win the compititon!!! I can't wait to hear what song she makes us all sing along to!!!!




As far as Scott.Lee...I hear he is in very very heavy duty training. He did not send me a pic, but his coach sent me this as a preview of what he will be doing...omg!!!!

1.  When I was six ...  I put nipples on my sisters Barbie's with an ink pen.

2.   married my high school sweetheart.

3.  Sometimes when I drink Tequila ... I get the hiccups ... this can happen at the worst times.

4.  I am a people watcher.

5.  I send Christmas Carolers to my moms home every year.  She is entertained for at least an hour as well as her close friends that she invites over.

6.  I do not believe in abortion Xcept ... if a crime was involved.

7.  I don't like to be accused of things ... If you are wondering about something ... just ask me.

8.  I cried when my Dad ran over my Tonka dump truck.  Two months later he had bought six Tonka dump trucks making it up to me.  ( I milked it :)

9.  The first picture of a naked woman that I saw  ... she was wearing pearls ... just pearls.

Believe it or not....

1 I still have my Barbie doll and her real mink coat and hat.

2. Every year on April 28th I pull my wedding dress from the closet and remember how young and happy I once was and I cry as I think about my mom. She made my gown.


3. When the Wizard of Oz is on, I still cover my eyes when the flying monkeys come on...they scare me!!!!

4. I never smoked pot when I was young, but now ...boy it makes for great sex.

5. Before I moved to Michigan I was dating a parole officer and yes...he had his own handcuffs...enough said.

6. I was a good girl and never lost my virginity until I was almost 19. I gave it to him as his 21st birthday present. (May 25th...I will never forget!)

7. When I was in high school, I use to work in the gym with handicapped children. There was no greater joy than watching a girl with a brace on her leg walk across a balance beam "it's like I'm in the Olympics" she was a pretty special person.

8. My first job was making student IDs and credit cards. I typed the raised print for the names, accounts etc on them.

9. My mother was a fantastic seamstress and every year made our Halloween costumes..my favorite was the Little Red Riding Hood cape..I still have it tucked away in a very special place.

10. When I was young and stupid...I can't believe I'm going to admit this...I use to cheer for this pro football team from a state close to Mexico. They had a QB by the name of Danny White and I thought he was "hot". Thank God I matured and started cheering for the Packers!

( I never had cowboy boots..but I did have a pair of platform shoes that were turquoise on the bottom, white on the top and a pink bows at the toes! Once again...thank God I matured!!!!)

My 10 things

1. I have fake nails too.. but everything else is real.. (gravity will prove this statement).

2. And lol I also had cowboy boots when I was little only mine were black.. my mom has pictures of me running around in them in t-shirt and diaper.. she said they were my favorite shoes.

3. I've only ever been to two "rock" concerts in my whole life.. *sigh* the first one was actually a Ramones concert.. and the second was a Reo Speedwagon lol concert.

4. The day Elivs died, I was sittin in my aunts kitchen and gettin my hair cut. It was interrupted when the news came across the T.V. Josh (my husband) was only 2 days old.. lol I was 9 yrs old.

5. When I was a little girl... I used to beat boys up, actually bloodied one lil bullies nose for picking on me, lol told one little guy he was my boyfriend, *sigh*.. Cooper now is best friends with this little boys son.. lol.

6. On my 30th birthday, I was so down, I was crying when my sister and best friend came to pick me up for work, settled down by the end of the day, but when Tyler and I finally got back to where I park my car when riding with someone else, lol Tyler realized the radio light was on. I'd locked the keys in my car and had left it running all day. *grinz* AND it still had a quarter of a tank of gas.

7. First time I had sex was in my ex's (ex-husband that is) basement, *blushin* I was 15 he was 18.. and his mom and step-dad were upstairs lol asleep in the living room.

8. Nine times out of ten these days, If you are talkin to me on here I'm sittin with cartoons on in the background, lol *shrugs* and cooper's not in here with me, lol watchin Scooby Doo at the moment.

9. I also had Shaun Cassidy records when I was a young girl.. *sigh* and Leif Garrett. Me, my sister and cousins also had a Kiss album, lol and we would make ourselves up to look like the band, lol and sing along with the record.

10. I believe in angels and ghosts, have not seen an angel, but I believe there are guardian angels out there looking out for us (Cooper has one, his uncle Jeremy), lol I've only had one ghost experience, whether you believe or not, its not an experience I ever want to have again.

10 Things...

We all know each other here pretty well, but I bet there are a few things about you no one knows...So I challenge you to think of 10 things no one knows about you...the more embarrassing the better cause well we all love a good laugh right??

So here are my 10 things.

1. The reason I started liking Michigan State was because I liked the colors, green and white, better than U of M's maize and blue.

2. I have seen Barry Manilow, Jack Wagner and Richard Marx in concert.

3. I have fake finger nails.

4. I own 2 pairs of shoes. My almost 5 yr old daughter on the other hand owns 6 pairs.

5. Elvis died on my 10th birthday, August 16, 1977.

6. First time I had sex I was 17, he was 22. It was in the spare bedroom at my house in the bed that my step-father's mother used to sleep in. As a matter of fact, I think its the same bed she died in.

7. When I was a little kid my favorite pair of shoes were a pair of red cowboy boots. I also used to have this huge toy horse that bounced up and down on springs and I used to ride it wear said boots. And yes i have pictures some where to prove this.

8. My first job was as a waitress at a local burger joint. My 2nd job was at K-Mart, in the "intimate apparel" dept. I used to have to run "blue light specials" on bras and panties.

9. I kissed my first boy at the tender age of 6 and we used to show each other our thingys. Of course he was only 4...OMG

10. The love of my life when I was a kid was Shaun Cassidy. I still have his albums. My 2 cousins and I used to pretend we were his "Angels" and we would run around solving crimes.

October...

The month when football is in full swing...the month when hockey starts up...the month when we are all cheering for our favorite baseball teams to win the World Series... the month that the trees turn bright beautiful colors.
Breast Cancer Awarness Month.

We goof around a lot on here...we have head day, we have fuck day, then there is Friday funnies...we make bets on sports games....but we also talk about reality.

Cancer...a terrible terrible thing. In one way or another it has taken friends and family from us, Em...Dreambaby...my mom...I hate it for the voids it has left in my life. Breast cancer can hit any woman or any man at any time. I thank God today for my Aunt June...a four year breast cancer survivor. I live with a fear that I think most woman do...please do not ever let it happen to me.

I don't mean to sound like a downer in this wonderful time of the year..but it is reality...and I just had to say something.

WHAT CANCER CANNOT DO

Halloween

Since it is the season to get all dressed up and have fun for Halloween, I thought I'd see if I had picked out appropriate costumes for the three ladies that post on here most often.. that being Jentle, Susie and myself.

Of course we have the ever "sweet, quiet and shy" Jentle ;)

Then we have Susie, with this outfit, she can referee the Lions/Cowboys game and make sure of the outcome she wants ;)

lol and Lastly we have me.. Now I'm not sure exactly how this fits my sweet nature.. but some seem to think I'd wear this costume rather well... lol..
