...there was a young man in Texas. He participated in little boy things and played the games that school kids play. Some little boys and girls in Texas find the competition in horemanship lots of fun. This guy being one. An event that interested me was calf roping. Singles and team roping was a good time. My mother use to tell me trhat the reason a dog would notr stay around our place very long was because I was always roping it. My sister kept rope burns on her arms and legs alot too ... but she never ran away.
All through Jr. High and High School I had many weekends filled with Jr. Rodeo's and Playdays held by local Riding Clubs. I also competed in my College days as well. Any of you that have tried roping or been to a Rodeo knows that the riope is tossed over your head as you chase the calf. Depending on if you are running header or hoofer ... you work until you get a comfortable and win ning technique using your wrist. The more one practice and competes ... one builds up strength in the wrist and arms.
There's alot of repetitive movemments.
At 42, I still enjoy competeing and working a rope. Aches and pains get my attention sometimes and remind me that I am a little more 'fragile' than I use to be.
I have had some issues with numbness and tingling in my arm for awhile, being that I am a heart patient I had some scheduled test run Thursday. The test were not only to find he problem but to rule out problems with my heart.
I am happy to say that my heart is fine.
Now... I told you about my passtimne back in the day to tell you what the doctor said yesterday. It seems I have this thing called carpral tunnel. *blinks*
Now if you would stop your minds from rewinding and forget the words "repetitive' movements... "STFU Kirsti"...
and just remember ... when I do my other 'passtime' ... I change up my movements.
My doctor did NOT say this was from masturbating so much ... ( and hell NO I didn't ask him if it was...)no date set for surgery yet ...
I had the surgery a year ago Tex...nothing to it. Afterwards, you get to squeeuze a ball, something I"m sure you will have no problem with. About a week before you have it done..quit using the hand and you are having surgery on..it can be interesting taking a shower and other things with just one hand.
