Some Audio entertainment for Tuesday Morning

I was talking to Susie about Soft Cell the other evening in the Lobby. She knew "Tainted Love" but hadn't heard any other tracks from their (to me) excellent album "Non Stop Erotic Cabaret" - it's a treat if you like late 70s / early 80s British Synth-Pop. Even if you don't you may remember Gloria Jones' original from gawd knows when - 1964?

"Tainted Love" therefore:

"Say Hello Wave Goodbye" was covered by David Gray in "White Ladder" (to the extent that no one knew it was a cover!) but here's the original. It really gets me (I was listening to this in the garden yesterday on my ipod - the neighbors probably thought I'd flipped out) and I hope it rings something in you guys. There have been numerous remixes and mashups but nothing gets close to this. It summarizes a lot of totally fucked-up relationships I was having at about this time.
