Such sad news for all of us to share.

As I sat and read the different comments left here for you, I noticed how there was a common thread in each one of them that seemed to go beyond the expression of condolences.

Over the years you have carefully shared parts of your real. I am sure more to some than others, but still all of us have had the magic that your personality displays so well.

You have shared events and traditions that your family have, and I know for a fact, a few of those traditions have been added to homes all over the states. One of the most precious things you share with us is how close and caring you family is. That’s such a blessing.

You have shared with us many of your playful happenings as well as serious life situations. All bringing us closer to you and seeing inside your world.

I was just thinking of stories you have shared with me/us about your brother. The playfulness between you two. The respect for one another. The role the two of you shared after the loss of you Dad as the men of the family. My personal observation includes the way you two carried on and continued to live his accomplishments and dreams.

 Honoring his wife like only a son can do.

All those things are what makes up the untouchable memories Scott.

Those are the things that you will share with the children left behind. No doubt in my mind you will bless those children over and over.

You told me once that he was your ‘hero’. You told me about a time the two of you shared in the mountains of New Mexico for about a month. I smiled then when you called him your ’hero’ just as I am now.

Looks like you get to be his Hero now. Taking care of his mother, his wife. His children and the family.

That’s a pretty tall order but my money is on you darlin.

I pray for your strength, your understanding and your inner peace as your heart mends.
