Snow Snow Snow

So many times when I say to some of you about it being cold here in my part of Texas ... I get a reply like , " What ... 45 or 50 degrees?"


Let it be known that I have flown into cold places for hunting and I knew it was a choice. My option was "GO HOME to Texas if you want to thaw!"

It as simple as this ... I AM HOME and it's been in the teens and upper 20's for 40 something days with windchills in the single digits and lower. Take your damn cold weather back to wherever it came from.

Take the one inch of ice that is under the 8 inches of snow that fell after midnight last night that is still falling at this time.

It totally makes my days and nights more difficult. I like skipping rocks over ponds rather than trying to bust frozen ponds so the cows can drink.

Blaze is looking at me like ... " WHO the hell did we piss off this time to get this?"

I am blocking Kalli's cell phone because ... how many pics does one need of his

kid in the snow?

EVERYtime I go out back .. I am hit with a snowball. I would rather have sand up my ass than snow!

And should I remind all the other states that we are hosting the Super Bowl this weekend and I am to be there. Should I start that way now to make sure I get there before kick off?

And to top it off ... the weather man says we have more probably next week.

I have come to an entirely different meaning for 'yellow snow' ... I once thought it was to show a talent ... to master a steady hand with your stuff as you sign your name... NOT now ... it's much less complicated than that ... it's a simple as ...
