In olden times a glimpse of stocking...

So it's Friday and I thought, what do they do here on Friday? Oh yeah, I know. *Grins*

Being all classically trained, and Susie having done the educational video on the history of the word "Fuck" I thought I should find something that brings it all together. Voila! :)

You may have seen these before - these images are from the complex of temples at Khajuraho in India. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site too so it's nice to knew that there is a little perving in the United Nations. It's a massive tourist spot for anyone who's out that way (I've never been) - although they warn you on the tourst websites that the local food is pretty bad. (LOL)

These statues were made between 950 and 1050 AD - about the time that some of the Vikings landed on the North American continent.

It must be something to do with the climate :)

There may be one or two pieces missing from the statues (like feet in some cases!) with the passage of time, but all the important stuff seems to be there.

Oh yes. I decided not to include the one which appears to be a guy getting a little too attached to his horse.
